Membership
Facts & Requirements
Boys are “Teammates” and parents are “Coaches.”
Our annual membership year is May 1st through April 30th.
Prospective Members may apply to join btc during the annual membership drive during their 7th through 11th grade year. Teammates are assigned to Teams by the grade which they will enter in the fall of that membership year.
There are approximately 25 Teammates in each Team. (We maintain a waitlist of interested candidates should we not have openings in a particular team.)
btc leagues host approximately three General Membership Meetings per year that both Teammates and Coaches attend and additional Teammate Meetings (grade level) throughout the year.
Coaches are required to serve in a leadership role for at least one term during their btc tenure.
Philanthropy Hours are earned while serving at one of your league’s approved philanthropies events.
League Hours are earned by attending General Membership Meetings, Team Meetings (grade level), committee work, etc.

How to Join a League
01.
All btc leagues have their specific membership boundaries listed on their League home page. Find the league closest to you and make sure your family meets these boundary requirements. If your inquiry falls during our Prospective Membership Drive please fill out the “Prospective Membership Application.” Missed the Prospective Membership Drive? Click the "Contact Us" button for your geographically assigned league and a member of the btc League board will get in touch with you.
02.
All Prospective Members must be sponsored by a current btc League Member in good standing. The Sponsoring Member must submit the “Intent to Sponsor Form" during the Prospective Member Drive. Don't have a sponsor? Click the "Contact Us" button for your geographically assigned league and a member of the btc League board will get in touch with you.
03.
All Prospective Member Applicants are sorted by their appropriate class. If there are more applicants than space available in a class, the applicants will be selected by random draw to fill the class or, if necessary, placed on a waitlist. Prospective Member Applicants and their Sponsors will be contacted by the VP of Membership following the draw.
